Meet the Doctors at Innate Family Chiropractic
His Journey
Dr. Chris experienced one health challenge after another growing up. It started with recurrent ear infections. Then it was a weakened immune system, followed by acne, and finally capped off by digestive issues. When he was around 20 years old, he met a chiropractor at a work event. Dr. Chris didn’t know anything about chiropractic at the time, but something communicated during that conversation gave him hope that his health could be improved. So Dr. Chris decided to give chiropractic care a try. The first thing he noticed after adjustment was his digestion would improve, even though he made no other changes in his lifestyle. Dr. Chris was still eating junk food and not hydrating enough. Yet, positive changes were taking place. He saw continued improvements to his health, and wanted to learn more about this amazing profession. You already know the punchline to this story, but eventually 20-something year old Chris decided to change his major and obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology, transfer schools, and become Dr. Chris. He went on to attend the renowned Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles, beginning practice in 2010.
Her Path to Becoming a Chiropractor
Dr. Adana started her chiropractic journey when she accepted a front desk job at a chiropractic office in Los Angeles. At the time, she saw it as a good part-time job to take while attending Loyola Marymount University where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a Marketing focus (Go Lions!). Little did she know that this job would change her entire career path. Although chiropractic is awesome all on its own, that isn’t why Adana decided to become Dr. Adana. Throughout her teenage years, Dr. Adana suffered from migraine headaches. Her solution for many years was to pop large doses of acetaminophen or ibuprofen. She had no idea her nervous system was a mess, or that chiropractic adjustments could correct the issue. As a perk at Dr. Adana’s new job, she started getting adjusted. It wasn’t long before she realized she wasn’t experiencing regular migraines. That’s when she got hooked on chiropractic! She accepted a job, but ended up getting so much more than a paycheck. Her health was transformed! Shortly thereafter, Dr. Adana decided becoming a chiropractor was her calling and attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles, graduating in 2010.
